I spent thirteen years on the road. Three years in Emergency Medical Delivery. Ten years running motorcycle transportation services across the United States—the kind of work that means 10-18 hour driving days crossing state lines. During those endless miles, Blues and R&B kept me company. It wasn't just background noise. It was companion.
In early 2023, a knee injury forced me into a surgery and a hospital bed for several days. And again, the Blues came back to keep me company, I picked up AI music creation. Not because I had some grand plan. Just because it was something I keep hearing about and I needed something to do, something to pass the time and take my mind of the discomfort and pain.
Then something unexpected happened. In just 2 days’ time hospital staff started asking about my songs. Other patients wanted to know where they could find the artist. I realized there was real hunger for emotional Blues and Blues-infused R&B music that actually meant something to people it touches. That recognition sparked something in me. I started researching AI-assisted music production obsessively. What I discovered changed everything. Shortly after, to deal with the hardship of losing something I loved doing, a business I built over the years, and the pain of losing someone I loved to deal with the pain and the depression, even the anger. I once again turned back to music, this time not just listening but creating. I drowned myself in the creation process, sometimes 14-18hrs a day, for almost a year. Before I realized it, I had over 1,500 soundtracks sitting on my hard drive just a little over a year later, Just the thought of that shocked me something I would have thought impossible just a year before. And by late 2025 I'd released over 2,000 soundtracks across 150+ streaming platforms worldwide. I guess when music and creativity bring you to your happy place, we get lost in the sublime moment achieving the impossible.
Today, Sublime Vibes Entertainment operating as Sublime Vibes Records to the world creates music across multiple genres of Blues, R&B, Reggae, Lover's Rock, Rock, Grunge. But listen close, you'll often find Blues woven through most of what I create. It's not accidental. It's the heartbeat underneath everything I do.
I use AI as a tool a collaborator that lets me work faster and more affordably than traditional studios ever could. But the soul? That's always human. Every song starts with intention, emotion, and a specific truth of human emotions I want to capture.
My story isn't a typical career pivot. It's about no longer waiting for permission to make the music I believed in.
